Elizabeth Anne by Hand has grown from my need to be productive in my retirement and the realisation that retirement doesn’t mean death. Cher is still strutting her stuff at 72 and look at her go…

I was also sick of looking at 20 year old models telling me to use this or that product to reduce wrinkles and the march of time. We need a more realistic approach for women of my age. We are of the era where we want family,  honesty, caring for people and the environment and a gentler way of life to translate to actions instead of words. We are protesting the rise of conglomerates and multi-national uncaring organisations.

Starting a business during retirement seemed a logical step for me. I have always been a go-getter and this gives me the opportunity to pursue new avenues in life which reflect my hobbies and passion, and occur in an arena I’m familiar with. Women still have value after retirement, and that’s one of the reasons why I started my business.

Elizabeth Anne is the middle names of my two beautiful daughters, Kate ELIZABETH and Sarah ANNE, who have always been my support, inspiration and growth.

I have spent a great deal time of time sourcing natural and ethical ingredients which reflect the beautiful side of rural Australia and its bounty.

My products are wild harvested from the outback, Queensland rainforest and the eastern coastline and include Kakadu Plum, Quandong (Australian Native Peach), Jacaranda Flower, Papaya, White Willow Bark, Banksia Flower, Vitamin C, Jasmine, Neroli, Avocado, Rosehip, Australian Lemon Myrtle and Desert Lime.

Organic ingredients are used where possible. Australian oils, fruits and extracts are all sustainably and ethically sourced using natural preservatives. All products are 100% vegan, with no animal testing and use sustainable packaging.
